Under Kyoto station (and under the outlying streets) there is a huge underground shopping center, Manshige is inside that shopping area. It is an easy walk from the station to find Manshigi to get some traditional Kyoto style cuisine. The price is also pretty reasonable and they try to stay somewhat "healthly" here.
