The Maruyama Park (in Japanese; Maruyama Koen 円山公園) is a popular park in Kyoto as it is in Gion, next to if now encompassing famous temples, has a famous cherry tree and during cherry blossom season is packed with locals and visiting Japanese alike. The "Main Attraction" is a Weeping Cherry Tree (Japanese absolutely love cherry trees) called "Shidare Zakura" and it lit up at night.
