Shortly after WWII, Yoshikawa was build at the heart of Kyoto. It is a very high-end Ryokan located near the famous landmark in the city which is the Kyoto Imperial Palace Park and the Nijojo Castle. It has 8 Japanese guest rooms have a private bath and toilet. It also has a garden called 'Taikyouen' which is said to be the landscape of Enshu Kobori during the Edo period. The dining experience in this ryokan is one of the most sought after because of the tempura and traditional kaiseki.
