Another shop outside the main Tokyo loop but definitely worth taking a trip out for. Look out for the red lantern and huge Noren curtain to find this famous Ramen shop dealing exclusively in super-thick Tonkotsu soup. The soup is extremely simple but incredibly tasty, made with nothing but domestic pork bones and water. The standard dish (¥750) can be customized endlessly at no extra cost, so go ahead and set your preferred level of noodle firmness, soup thickness, toppings and so on. They also offer a free serving of either seafood- or pork-based side soup, while available seasoning includes rarities like spicy Takana leaf and garlic soy sauce.
